Professional drivers are the backbone of this country, and we work hard every day to find ways to help make their lives better while they are on the road. One way we are doing this is by adding Urgent Care Travel facilities at our travel centers and travel plazas.
Currently, 65% of professional drivers don’t have a primary care provider. Professional drivers need more accessible medical care, and we’re giving it to them where they spend the most time – on the road. We currently have two locations and hope to see that number grow exponentially over the next few years.
While on the road, drivers don’t have a primary doctor they can turn to when they get sick. That is where Urgent Care Travel steps in and saves professional drivers both time and money. Located at Pilot Flying J sites, drivers can fill-up with fuel, take their scheduled stop and get all of their medical needs taken care of.
