Celebrating Our Drivers: Clean Drivers

We are so thankful for everything drivers do to transport and deliver all of the fuel, food and items that we need every single day.

Our drivers go above and beyond to fuel our stores and communities. To show our gratitude throughout Driver Appreciation month, we will be highlighting a few of our drivers that deliver clean, crude and DEF.

Here are some fun facts about our clean drivers:

We are proud to have more than 1,400 clean drivers that collectively work 24-hours a day, 7-days a week loading fuel from supply racks around the country and delivering it to our Travel Center network.

We think it is incredibly important that our drivers get to spend time with their families, so we make sure drivers are home each night.

In times of national emergencies, like Hurricane Dorian, many of our drivers volunteer to travel to the edge of the disaster zones, so they can safely and quickly help deliver fuel to the affected areas.

We’d like to introduce you to two of our clean drivers:

Allison Tackett

Allison has been driving with us for six years but has been a driver for 18 years. She enjoys the camaraderie with other PFJ drivers, the ease of working with dispatch and being home every night. When Allison isn’t driving, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, attending concerts and hanging out at the lake.

Mike King

Mike has been driving with us for four months but has been a driver for over 25 years. He enjoys working with other fellow drivers and dispatch. He appreciates how stable the company is and the amount of time that he gets to spend with his family.

Thank you Allison, Mike and all of our clean drivers for truly fueling life’s journeys! Stayed tuned for next week’s spotlight on our crude drivers.
