As a veteran founded company, we are honored to celebrate Military Appreciation Month by supporting the incredible efforts of the Call of Duty Endowment and their #CODEMedicalHeroes campaign.
Throughout May, the Call of Duty Endowment will highlight the immensely qualified veterans who have the skills necessary to fill essential positions in the healthcare industry. As part of our giving back program’s ongoing commitment to veteran employment, we are donating $100,000 to fund the placement of 200 veterans into high-quality jobs.
The #CODEMedicalHeroes campaign aims to honor the wonderful veteran medics and hospital corpsmen. During the pandemic, unemployment and underemployment greatly impacted the veteran community. In fact, almost half of former medics and hospital corpsmen who want to work in a civilian healthcare profession cannot find a job in the industry.
The Call of Duty Endowment not only seeks to help place veterans in jobs but also highlight the value they bring to our communities. We are forever grateful for the service of these brave men and women and are honored to help place them into high-quality jobs with our donation.
