When traveling for the holidays with the family, roadside stops that provide gas and restrooms, but also have many amenities available to accommodate families are a necessity. Adding family friendly stops like Pilot and Travel J stores to our itinerary make those long road trips a lot less stressful.
Aside from food, hot and cold beverages, gas, and restrooms, there is so much more that is available to make the Pilot and Flying J Travel Centers family friendly destinations while on the road. For me, having entertainment on hand while on the road is a must have, especially on long road trips. So knowing that we can take advantage of the shopping area that includes movies, books and music, as well as power cords that might be needed while on the road, takes care of the entertainment aspect.
We can also find fun travel games for the kids to play, as well as toys the kids can choose from, so we can try to keep them entertained and their minds off of the “are we there yet,” question that can come up quite often.
Along with entertainment you can take to go at a Pilot or Flying J, there is also in-store fun. As we get out to stretch our feet, fuel up, take bathroom breaks, and eat, we can let the kids play in the game rooms. We also take advantage of the WiFi that is available, so as the kids play, I can catch up on emails and my daughter can catch up on anything she might have missed on social media. Pilot and Flying J are truly a one-stop shop for families on the road!
