On October 28, we celebrated the grand opening of our new Flying J Travel Center with several special guests in attendance. The new Tumwater location is a joint venture with the Chehalis Tribe, and we were thrilled to have the Chehalis Tribal Enterprise CEO, David Burnett, and several tribal members at the event. The Tumwater Chamber of Commerce, including President Gabriel Toma, led the ribbon-cutting ceremony.

We believe it’s essential to give back to the communities we serve and are proud to contribute to a local organization as part of our store opening tradition. To support our new Tumwater community, we donated $2,500 each to the local Oakville and Rochester School Districts. We were honored to have Kim Fry, Superintendent for the Rochester School District and Rich Staley, Superintendent for the Oakville School District at the grand opening event to accept the gifts and represent their school districts.
