New Horizons September 2023: Six Remodels to Kick-off Fall

Lots of exciting things happen in September – like the change of seasons and the start of football season. This year, we have six more things for you to add to the calendar: the opening of our latest New Horizons locations!

North Little Rock, Arkansas Pilot Travel Center

You’re invited! To celebrate this location’s remodel and Driver Appreciation Month, we’re hosting a community celebration at this Pilot travel center located at 3300 AR-391. Drivers and guests are invited to join the festivities on September 13 from 3:30 to 7:30 p.m., which will include prize giveaways, a special outdoor drivers’ lounge, and food and drink sampling.

Come check out new food offerings to the store’s café menu, the remodeled Pizza Hut and the updated Subway. Eating on the go has never been so easy — or delicious. Along with the endless food and beverage offerings, the remodeled restrooms and showers and the new public laundry facilities make this location the perfect stop during a long haul. And of course, a new breakroom for our team members who help fuel life’s journeys.

Big Springs, Nebraska Flying J Travel Center

If you’re on the road and missing homestyle cooking, stop off at this Big Springs location for a hot meal. Whether it’s meatloaf and mash potatoes or a roasted half chicken with green beans, you can find it all at this location, made in the store’s brand-new kitchen. Our superb soups are now available here too.

Other updates include refreshed and expanded restrooms, four new showers, updated laundry facilities and a new team member breakroom. This location’s Cinnabon and Subway were also remodeled.

Dade City, Florida Flying J Travel Center

If you’re traveling in the Tampa Bay area, stop into this sparkling store and check out all the improvements. The refreshed restrooms, remodeled showers and updated laundry facilities will ensure you and your clothes stay clean while on the road.

There are also some additions from the remodel, like a team member breakroom and four self-check outs. Soup offerings are also now available at this location. Try the loaded potato – it’s delicious!

Baldwin, Florida Pilot Travel Center

This location has road trip essentials at your fingertips, and with three new self-check outs you can easily get what you need while on-the-go. The showers and restrooms are also recently refreshed.

If you’re hungry, stop by this store’s remodeled Subway for a footlong sub! Other changes include updated laundry facilities and the addition of a team member breakroom.

Lake Station, Indiana Flying J Travel Center

If the autumn chill starts to set in, choose from our variety of delicious homestyle offerings. Treat yourself with a classic cinnamon roll from the remodeled Cinnabon! This location also has three new self-check outs, remodeled restrooms, refreshed showers and updated laundry facilities.

Salinas, California Pilot Travel Center

Located right off the 101, this remodel is a sight to see. Choose from rows of your favorite road trip snacks and grab a drink out of the expanded beverage coolers. There’s also an updated Subway and Cinnabon at this location. Check out those four new self-check outs!
