New Horizons November 2022: Fresh Look for the Holidays

With the holiday season in full swing, we’re making our stores an even more wonderful stopping experience for you and your loved ones. From top-to-bottom store remodels and seasonal drink menus to a new Thanksgiving meal and even bigger savings for loyalty members, our Pilot and Flying J travel centers have you covered for the upcoming festivities.

Stop at one of our latest New Horizons store remodels and save 25% off food and beverages from November 7 through November 27 by entering the promo code PFJNov in the myRewards PlusTM app. And no matter where your travels take you, remember you can save 10 cents per gallon at any of our locations through the end of this year!

London, Ohio Pilot Travel Center

Join us as we kick off a grand reopening event for our travel center in London, Ohio with Columbus Crew and Monster Energy Friday, November 18, from 10 AM to 2 PM! This celebration at 1365 Sr 42 NE will include everything from pop-up soccer goals and giveaways (like Columbus Crew season tickets!) to a $20,000 check presentation to the London City School District for its S.T.E.A.M. program. We will also have local radio stations on site, Monster Energy freebies, gas card giveaways, and more to keep your travels merry and bright.

Barstow, California Pilot and Flying J Travel Centers

We’ve remodeled both of our Barstow, California locations! Our Pilot Travel Center off 2591 Commerce Parkway now offers updated restrooms and bathrooms as well as additional grab-and-go food and beverage items to keep you stocked up on your favorite travel snacks. Plus, checking out is even easier thanks to our newly added self-checks that’ll make your stop a breeze.

Our Flying J Travel Center in Barstow, California experienced similar renovations, including refreshed restrooms and four new self-checkouts, that create a quicker shopping experience for you. This location on 2611 Fisher Blvd. also added a new Cinnabon kiosk featuring their famous cinnamon rolls and other delicious baked treats.

On behalf of both Barstow locations, we’ve donated $10,000 to the Barstow Unified School District for students’ technology needs, computers, and devices.

[This donation from Pilot Company] will be used to seed a start-up business plan in our entrepreneurship program that will allow students to fulfill a project from inception to development, marketing, and sales. Students will learn business planning in real time and be able to fund future plans with the profits earned.

– Holly Bowser, CTE Coordinator for Barstow Unified School District

Niota, Tennessee Pilot Travel Center

Our Pilot Travel Center in Niota is ready to serve travelers their favorite food and beverage items with its expanded deli offerings. Craving fresh fruit? How about a made-in-house sandwich? Our team is ready to help you find that pick-me-up item for the journey ahead! We’ve also added four new self-checkouts for an even quicker shopping experience. To support the local community, we’re donating $10,000 to McMinn County Schools.

  1. I love flying J it’s the closest thing I have to home is hot food hot shower and safe parking thank you flying J employees and managers for helping me over the road.

  2. Stopping at our ‘usual’ Pilot Flying J’s on our trips home (to Cox’s Creek, KY from Faison, NC), my partner and I always look forward to and enjoy the coffee/sodas/snacks/fair fuel prices that help us to ‘re-fuel’ for the journey.
Thanks to all the employees at your locations for clean locations and pleasant experiences!
