New Horizons July 2024: Five Remodeled Stores Ready for Your Summer Journey

Roll down the windows, crank up the tunes, and get ready to hit the open road because summer road trip season is officially here! Lucky for you, we have five remodeled travel centers with all the amenities you need to keep you fueled and refreshed while you’re on the road.

These locations are the latest in our New Horizons project, a $1+ billion store modernization initiative. Since launching the program in March 2022, we have remodeled over 150 Pilot, Flying J and One9 travel centers with the goal of creating the best experience possible for both our guests and team members. Minooka, Illinois – Pilot Travel Center

Located less than 60 miles south of the Windy City, this travel center is a must-visit. You can’t pass up a warm cinnamon roll from the newly remodeled Cinnabon paired with a cup of our best coffee on the interstate. Other renovations included remodeled restrooms and showers, an expanded beverage cooler with more of your favorite drinks and updated public laundry facilities.

Burbank, Ohio – Pilot Travel Center

Cruising through the Buckeye state? Make a pit stop here. Stop for a meal or a sweet treat at the remodeled Wendy’s and Cinnabon or try a slice of Pilot’s delicious pizza from the newly added kitchen. With refreshed showers, restrooms, and updated laundry facilities, you’re all set for a top-notch break.

Lebanon, Indiana – Flying J Travel Center

Midwest travelers, this Flying J has everything you and your road trip companions need when you’re ready to stop and stretch your legs. Check out the new food offerings made in the fully remodeled and expanded kitchen and pair your pit stop meal with a cold drink from one of the expanded beverage coolers. Other improvements include three new self-checkouts, updated public laundry facilities and remodeled restrooms.

Ardmore, Oklahoma – Flying J Travel Center

Need a break from the road? This roadside oasis offers everything you need to refuel and refresh. Clean and refreshed restrooms and showers, tasty food from the newly remodeled kitchen, and quick and easy checkouts with added self-checkout lanes are waiting for you.

Tonkawa, Oklahoma – Pilot Travel Center

An hour and a half north of Oklahoma City, this location is a perfect stopover. Treat yourself to a crunchy taco from the remodeled Taco Bell or enjoy an always delicious cinnamon roll from the remodeled Cinnabon. Remodeled from top to bottom, this location showcases refreshed showers and restrooms, updated public laundry facilities and added self-check-out lanes.
