Last week, we kicked off our 10-week summer internship programs by welcoming more than 50 interns to Pilot Flying J. We are excited to have a diverse group that represents 21 schools in 12 different states. This summer, our interns will support more than 20 departments at our sales and support center and multiple travel center locations across the U.S.

These programs allow college students to grow both personally and professionally in an exciting and challenging environment. Operations interns rotate and learn a new role each week as they learn how to successfully operate our fast-paced travel centers. Interns at our sales and support center gain hands-on experience within their departments learning critical business skills that can help launch their careers. Every Friday, they participate in professional development activities like volunteering, interview workshops, and team building events – ropes course anyone?
