Over the next few weeks, you’ll hear from some of our great friends including Biggest Loser Pete Thomas on how he makes healthy food choices while traveling, NASCAR’s Michael Annett on how travel stops fuel his team on the road and bloggers The Vacation Gals, Mommy Katie and Just Short of Crazy on all of the ins and outs of trips long and short for families of all ages and sizes.
Along the way, they’ll introduce you to some of the new foods and features at Pilot and Flying J locations – we’ve invested more than $100 million in facility upgrades to improve your travel experience!
Our PJ Fresh Marketplaces make it easy to find fresh, high-quality food options on the road. With fruits and veggies, low calorie options and gluten-free selections, you can now eat as well on the road as you do at home.
You may have heard that we have “the Best Coffee on the Interstate,” and with flavors like Pumpkin Spice, Hazelnut and Brazilian, there’s always something new to try. We also have coffeehouse quality options such as cappuccino, iced coffee and hot chocolate.
Our updated restroom facilities are clean, bright and stylish. Touch-free hand dryers help you and your family avoid germs, and upgraded showers are a welcome sight for long-distance drivers. We’ve even launched a travel planner, the MyPilot app, that lets you budget time by helping you find the Pilot or Flying J location nearest to you.
In 1958, my grandfather opened the very first Pilot. Today, there are more than 650 Pilot and Flying J Travel Centers across North America. Over the holiday season, I’m sure you will be visiting with friends and family. Whether you’re going across town or across the country, you’ll hit the road ready to make memories and we’ll be there for you. We’ll be there to help make your journey a little easier, more relaxed and more enjoyable.
