College Night at the Support Center

We invited students and professors to join us for College Night at our Support Center in Knoxville to learn more about what we do and the great job opportunities that we offer.

There is so much that goes on behind the scenes at the Support Center to help our stores and we want to show students all of the job opportunities that are available with us,” said Chelsea Esposito, a recruiter for Pilot Flying J.

It takes many different departments to fuel life’s journeys, so we were excited to show over 100 students all of the opportunities available, like how we design our app, move fuel across the country and so much more.

Each department set up a booth giving students an insight on what projects they work on and their involvement in the company.

Students walked around, talked with team members and checked out 20 different departments, from accounting and logistics to food and beverage innovation and corporate communications and PR.

This also allowed students to learn more about our 10-week summer internship program and career opportunities available. Click here to learn more about these opportunities for students and graduates.

Students and professors took a fun behind-the-scenes tour, snapped pictures in the photo booth, received PFJ swag and entered a raffle for a gift card. Forty of our PJ Fresh pizzas were made for guests to enjoy with refreshments in the café.

We loved meeting local college students and professors and showing what the largest operator of travel centers in North America has to offer!
