Key pieces of this plan include:
• Modernization and heightened guest services to create positive and memorable experiences each time you enter one of our travel centers. Last month, we named Whitney Haslam-Johnson to the newly created position of Chief Experience Officer. In this role, Whitney will craft improved retail offerings, upgraded restrooms and more efficient parking solutions in addition to working with Shannon Johnson on new food menu options.
• Bringing the expertise needed to continue enhancing our restaurant partnerships and our PJ Fresh fast-casual dining services. Shannon Johnson, Vice President of Food Innovation, will continue to ensure we deliver fresh, quick alternatives and homestyle meals that we know are important to you while on the road.
• Growing our network of roadside assistance trucks, in addition to building 20 service centers as part of our new Truck Care program. In 2016, we hired longtime industry veteran Dave Latimer as Vice President of Shop Strategies and Operations to spearhead this program.
